What We do and how we do it

We have partnered up with a few businesses from the service and real estate industries to get the items we need to service our clients. We have put together a six-step system, to ensure our LATINs are getting the best kind of help.
STEP 1: CONTACT US TO COLLECT THE ITEMS
Fundraise

The company calls us when they’re ready to dispose of the items. We then schedule a pick up time and go to them to collect the items to bring back to our facility.
Step 2: Organize, Analyze, Sanitize, Itemize and Sterilize (O.A.S.I.S)

After we get our haul, we begin organizing and analyzing. We determine what item is in a re-homing condition. Due to the COVID pandemic, we don’t give away our items to the public immediately. We take precautions to everyone’s safety. We make sure to properly sanitize each item we receive.
Step 3: Advertise on Social Media

We are a part of various Facebook Groups that give away free stuff. We also are currently working on a group of our own. We advertise the items that we have and wait. After Facebook, we go on other various free item sites, where we can reach more people.
Step 4: Redistribution

We meet up with the person personally and give them the items.
Step 5: What About the Rest?

The items that were not taken by people directly, we give the rest to homeless shelters, churches and other facilities that give out free stuff.
Step 6: Last Resort

In the rare case that we STILL have remaining items that were not taken by either person or business, is donated to thrift stores. This is our last resort. We try to avoid donating to places that put prices on items.
